About
A weekly gathering for computer security enthusiasts of all skill levels at CTRL-H, the PDX Hackerspace, hosted by Dean Pierce. Whether you are a novice or a career professional, all are welcome. Attendees typically bring laptops to work on security projects, capture-the-flag challenges, reverse engineering, and exploit development while networking and comparing notes with peers. There is no set curriculum or lecture - it is a hands-on, self-directed evening where people help each other get unstuck and dig into how systems break and how to defend them. Newbies are explicitly encouraged to ask questions and talk to other attendees about what they are working on, making this one of the most approachable on-ramps into Portland's information security community. Free and open to the public in S
