DESCRIPTION:Come hang out with Brandon Cole for a lunchtime session on one
of the trickiest parts of writing: how to make culture on the page feel r
eal without turning it into a lecture or a costume. We'll dig into two sid
es of the same coin\, writers pulling from traditions they actually grew u
p in and know in their bones\, and writers building entirely invented cult
ures that still need to feel lived-in and specific. How much do you explai
n? When does texture become tokenizing? Where's the line between honoring
a tradition and flattening it into aesthetic?\nBring your questions\, your
half-finished manuscripts\, your worries about getting it wrong\, all of
it. This is a working session\, not a lecture\, so expect real talk about
craft choices\, ethical tangles\, and the small details that make invented
or inherited worlds breathe. Grab a seat at NedSpace\, bring your lunch i
 f you've got one\, and let's get into it together.\n----\nPhoto Credit: @a
