Where Geometry Meets the Machine: An Open House at Loupe

An evening at Loupe's Portland workshop where industrial robots and mathematical sculpture coexist. Host David Nichols, the CEO and artist behind @polyhedrist, demonstrates how automation tools including CNC machines, waterjets, and robot arms construct monumental steel polyhedra, among them a 9-foot, 3,000-pound pentagonal icositetrahedron. The event features shop tours, live demonstrations, and conversations with the team, and welcomes makers, engineers, students, and the curious.
