Intro CAD (Fusion) Workshop @ PDX Hackerspace (Oct 3)

A beginner-friendly CAD workshop at PDX Hackerspace that walks participants through modeling a real object from start to finish in Autodesk Fusion. Over the session you will build a wireless charging phone stand, learning how to sketch, constrain, and extrude parts, how to take accurate real-world measurements with calipers, and how to prepare a finished model for 3D printing. No prior CAD experience is needed - the workshop is aimed at people opening Fusion for the first time as well as makers who want a cleaner workflow. Please arrive with Fusion already installed on your laptop so you can follow along hands-on; Onshape will work as an alternative, though support for it during the session will be limited.
