About

Exploit Workshop is PDX Hackerspace's weekly computer security meetup, open to both complete novices and working infosec professionals. Most attendees bring a laptop and spend the evening working on their own projects, exercises, or capture-the-flag challenges while talking shop with the people around them. As the organizers put it, "It is a workshop in the sense that there are people working, and also talking shop." Newcomers are actively encouraged to show up, ask questions, and learn by watching what others in the field are working on; there is no curriculum to keep up with and no experience required. Topics range across reverse engineering, vulnerability research, web and binary exploitation, tooling, and general security news. Held in Section 2 of CTRL-H, the main space accessed throu https://events.pdxhackerspace.org/occurrences/exploit-workshop-2026-10-07
