DESCRIPTION:A hands-on\, two-day blacksmithing intensive at Bridgetown For
 ge\, offered as part of ADX Fest. Participants learn sword forging techniq
 ues that combine hand-hammering\, sledgehammer striking\, and pneumatic po
 wer hammer work. Starting from a square steel bar\, each student forges a 
 unique double-edged sword with an integral handle shaped from one continuo
 us piece of steel -- no welding\, riveting\, or fasteners. The design grew
  out of the instructor's work developing a Caucasus Mountain dagger varian
 t. No prior blacksmithing experience is necessary. The workshop runs Satur
 day and Sunday\, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day\, and the course fee of 580 d
 ollars includes all materials. Registration is handled through the Bridget
