DESCRIPTION:How do you write from personal experience without putting your
whole life on the page? In this workshop\, Brandon Cole digs into the tri
cky\, electric space between honesty and oversharing\, with a focus on usi
ng real emotional material\, including bodily experience\, addiction\, chr
onic illness\, and painful relationships\, in ways that feel vivid\, inten
tional\, and alive.\nYou will explore how to turn raw experience into stro
ng creative work without sliding into unprocessed confession or flattening
everything into something distant and generic. Expect a lively\, thoughtf
ul session on voice\, boundaries\, self-insertion\, and the craft choices
that help personal material land with power. If you have ever wondered how
to write close to the bone while still staying in control of the work\, t
his one is for you.\n----\nPhoto Credit: @aaronburden on IG and Threads.
