A Conversation with Tim Leatherman, Inventor of the Leatherman Multi-Tool

Tim Leatherman, inventor of the multi-tool and cofounder of Portland's Leatherman Tool Group, discusses his new book on invention and entrepreneurship at Powell's City of Books. He is joined by co-author Chris Kornelis and moderator Bill Monroe, the first journalist ever to cover the Leatherman tool. It's a rare chance to hear one of Oregon's most iconic inventors tell the story of taking a garage prototype through years of rejection to a product that defined a category and built one of Portland's best-known manufacturing companies - essential listening for makers, engineers, and founders alike. Ticketed event; admission includes a hardcover copy of The Leatherman Book. https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-conversation-with-tim-leatherman-inventor-of-the-leatherman-multi-tool-tickets-1991496445478
