ADX Fest: Felted Pumpkin Workshop with Overcast Animation Collective

A two-hour needle-felting workshop at ADX, part of ADX Fest marking 15 years of the Southeast Portland maker and fabrication space. Fiber artist Zoe Huddleston of the Overcast Animation Collective teaches needle felting basics just in time for spooky season, guiding participants step by step as each person sculpts a needle-felted pumpkin to take home. All materials are provided and no prior fiber-arts experience is needed, making this an approachable introduction to a craft that sits at the heart of stop-motion animation fabrication. The workshop supports the Overcast Animation Collective's production of the pilot episode of My Friend Blue, an in-development preschool series featuring felted dinosaur characters, so attendees are directly helping a local independent animation project get ma https://artdesignxchange.com/events/adx-fest-felted-pumpkin-workshop-with-overcast-animation-collective
