About
An informal, hands-on workshop about using addressable LEDs for Halloween projects, hosted by John Romkey in the main space at PDX Hackerspace. Learn how addressable LED strips and matrices work, how to drive them from a microcontroller, and how to build lighting effects for costumes, props and yard displays in time for the holiday. The session is aimed at makers, hardware hobbyists and anyone curious about electronics, and is open to everyone regardless of experience level. Held in Section 2, the main space, entered through the front door. Free and open to the community as part of PDX Hackerspace regular maker programming.
